Family Roots in Wales

I went looking for some family roots while I was in Wales.  While I didn't find an more information on Cadwalader Watkins, my descendant who left Bala, Wales for Philadelphia in 1695, I found that the name Watkins has a left a significant imprint on Welsh history.  Here are some of the pictures from my search below:
Kaitlyn helping her Dad look for the Watkins headstones in the abandoned church in Llanfor, Bala, Wales.  We found one, but heard there was another.

Edward Watkins.  I met a couple descendents of Edward when I walked around town.

Butcher in Wales is Mark Watkins.  He was helpful in my search.  Also, he makes the best breakfast sausage I have ever had.

Mark's Mom (Mum), Gwyneth Watkins was a huge help.  She works in this real estate office.  My Dad will be happy to hear it runs in the family.  The Watkins Family used to own the land in Llanfor in Edward Watkins time.  She is three generation from Edward.  She is going to try and email me more information.

I am shocked this church is abandoned.  It is a beautiful church in Llanfor.  The graveyard is historic.

I guess Wales are where my white trash roots started.  I always thought it was from the south.  This table cracked me up.  I didn't know they had to write these rules down.  Thought it was sort of common sense.  This was hanging in the abandoned church.
